WP1 Project management
The management of the project uses existing network structures and involves scientists from the scientific society EURADOS. The steering committee of the CONRAD project includes the EURADOS chairman (H. Schuhmacher, Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt, PTB) as coordinator of the project and responsible for WP1, the EURADOS secretary (P. Olko, Institute of Nuclear Physics, Krakow) responsible for the collection and synthesising of reports to the EC and the EURADOS treasurer (J. Zoetelief, Delft University of Technology, TUD) for financial and legal matters. The TUD acts as coordinator and is responsible for the administrative part of the project management.
The management decisions for the project are discussed and implemented by regular contact between the steering committee and the leaders of the other WPs. Progress in the different WPs is monitored by regular reports to the coordinator and project meetings which are, in general, held in connection with bi-annual EURADOS Council meetings.
One further important aspect of project progress review consists in the discussion of project results presented during the scientific seminars at the EURADOS annual meetings, where a much wider scale of expertise is involved.
