Intercomparison on Monte Carlo modelling for in vivo measurements of Americium in a knee phantom

A collaboration has been undertaken between Work Package 4 “Computational Dosimetry” and Work Package 5 “Internal Dosimetry” within the Coordinated Action “CONRAD” funded by the European Commission (6th Framework Programme) to organize an international intercomparison aimed at investigating and comparing the different Monte Carlo approaches adopted in this field by various Laboratories.

The proposed problem specifications are reported in the attached files and the deadline for the submission of the results is 30 November 2006. The final results will be summarized and discussed during a special session within a Workshop that will be announced for the Autumn 2007.
